Away from the microphone, he is the proud father to four children, a daughter-in-law and granddaughter Aviva. He has been married to his beautiful wife Dawn for 35 years.

When time and schedules allow, he and Dawn enjoy daytripping around the state of Texas, imitating Chip and Joanna Gaines as would-be fixer-uppers and also tackling woodworking projects around the house, utilizing repurposed and recycled wood.
